Newmarket resident Margaret Mackrell has always had a love for writing. Her friends and family have encouraged her throughout the years to publish her work. Margaret published her first children's book this year called "Was there a dog in the Manger?". She has several other books that will be published in the near future and they are all inspired by her very own dog. Each book features the dog as the main character and teach a valuable lesson.
