The Newmarket Main Street Farmers' Market is still up and running until the end of October, so put the next few Saturday's on your calendar. There was a donation of $500 that was presented to the Farmers' Market from Friends of the Greenbelt in September. Friends of the Greenbelt promote local food, supporting neighbourhood Farms and connecting with the community. The Farmers' Market also had their basket presentation, which was donated to the Poverty Action for Change Coalition (PACC). This seasons winner was Liberal Candidate Tim Jones!
