2008 October > Success for United Way Soars The Regional Municipality of York announced their goal for the 2008 United Way staff campaign and began fundraising right away! After blowing last year's goal of $140,000 away by raising $202,000 they are aiming to raise a whopping $225,000 this year. They didn't waste anytime working toward their goal, right after the announcement staff enjoyed a silent auction and BBQ to start raising money.
