2008 April > Garbage, The Revolution Starts at Home
Last month Sharon Hope United Church hosted a movie screening for Garbage, The Revolution Starts at Home. The film is about a Thornhill family of 5 that keep their garbage for 3 months in their garage! The point of the film was to bring more awareness and do our parts in conserving energy and not being wasteful. Cathy Nesbitt, of Cathy's Crawly Composters, is a big supporter of the film and organized the screening. The goal of Cathy's business is to raise awareness about the environment and encourage sustainable practices. Worm composting is a great solution for apartment dwellers and those not being served by the Green Bin Program. For more info visit www.cathyscomposters.com.
